Where did we go?

Well, it has been a while since we posted.  Since our last post, two major things have happened; Kandace is working for Springville City on the ASAP Coalition for her internship, and Glen has finished all of his classes at BYU (Time to grow a beard).  We will both walk for Graduation in August!!!  Kandace's birthday has passed and I am sure she got everything she wanted short of a silhouette. We now have five birthdays in the month of June for both families, which we didn't have four years ago.  Those weren't the only things we did.  Below are a lot of the things that we did which took up our time.

Timpanogos Tennis Regions Medals... Most of our spring was spent with the Timpanogos Boys Tennis Team.  We had a great season this year, sending four out of the five teams to state.  They are regulars at Kandace's parents tennis court, which is where Glen plays tennis with them all the time.
No, Kandace has not stopped baking... These wonderful little dainties are pie bites!  One is banana cream and the other is Oreo.  While Kandace may have little time, she still finds time to bake her pastries, her favorite thing besides Glen!
We were able to make it out to our final baseball game with Glen's family.  Of course, Kandace only went for the Dip'n'dots, and Glen was tortured for four innings of baseball while no one paid attention and Mindi continually asked him family fued questions.  Kandace continually had her seat kicked for about two innings by a naughty 5 year old, who had continually sang Hannah Montanna's party in the USA.  The game then picked up and we all enjoyed it, even though BYU lost.
Last, but not least, we ran a 5k with Kandace's family.  Why are there storm troopers there?  I have no idea.  It was nice to get out and run, however, we are not the running type :)

Valentines day

We had a wonderful Valentines day this year! This year we went to dinner at iggy's and to the Lady A concert with Joce, Jared, and Tay. One of the best concerts we have gone to by far. Thompson square and Darius Rucker were the opening acts and all three bands were AMAZING! I have the best husband, most aren't willing to spend Valentines day listening to country all night. Glen definitely spoiled me this year!

I made glen i little book listing all the reasons why i love him and of course his favortie a Costco size jar of jelly beans

We went and picked out a pound of chocolate from See's

Glen also got me these beautiful roses

Christmas

We had a great Christmas this year. We spent it going back and forth between our parents houses. I think this year was better than other years because i didn't have to work and actually got to enjoy my time off from school. We both got the things we wanted for Christmas and got some fun surprises too! We aren't really good at taking pictures but we did get a few over the Holiday.

We went to lots of fun family Christmas parties..

Sadly we only got to see these two a little bit because they were sick :(
East wasn't feeling good and only wanted Glen all day

I went with the boys to see Santa at the mall.

Mom and dad surprised us with Wicked tickets!

This last week we went down to Arizona for Ryun's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and ceremony. The weather was so nice down there we didn't want to come back! We only have a few pictures of the wedding right now but we will post more later.

One of Glen's bucket list items was to get over 200 in bowling. He takes a class twice a week at school and is a league with Kenyon and Kenny. Well he finally gets to cross it off his list. He got a 208! I told him if he ever got over 200 i would blog about it so here it is! Here is my bowler with his new shirt. (they give you shirt if you get over 200)

For Halloween we decided we wanted to be the hamsters form the Kia Soul commercial. The costumes were homemade but i think they turned out well. A lot of people didn't know who we were and we got really itchy from the stuffing we used to look like fat hamsters but other than it it was great! We had fun hanging out with our families.

Things I are looking forward to:
1. Thankgiving break! We need a few days of school soo bad! We also get to see our little nice Elanor so that is plus.
2. Christmas. I know its early but my tree is already up. The second Halloween is over i believe it should be acceptable to start decorating for Christmas
3. Girls trip to Vegas with the best friends to see Celine Dion in January!

4. Lady Antebellum concert on Valentines day with glen!

Food first:
I decided to be adventurous and make some homemade fruit roll-ups that i saw on Pinterest.
They tasted really good but took about 6 hours to make. Worth it? No

I have also been working on new Halloween decorations, i don't really have room for more but i cant resist. I made these with my cricut, they were supper easy.

Lastly we just have to tell you about our amazing girls team. We figured out that the guys team is 10 times easier to coach but we still love our girls. The girls were great. They made tennis a team sport, which is hard to do, and they made sure everyone was included (boys could care less about that.) What we are most thankful for is what they did for Glen when his mom passed away. All the girls went in as a team and bought two shade tree's to plant by the court in honor of his mom. It was very hard for Glen and I to not cry when they told us at practice. The tree's are in and they are beautiful. Now Glen has a little piece of his mom at courts.

This is not the whole team but just a few of them after practice one day.
